Lots going on...

A lot has happened at our house in the past little while.

Tayler started school and our cute little boy was born!

His name is Jayson Thomas and weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long.

We went to the hospital Sunday morning (1 am) because I was having contractions pretty regularly and they were pretty painful. When we got there of course they didn't seem as bad as they did at home so I thought for sure that they would just send us home, but after the nurse called my doctor he said he would come in and break my water and get things rollin'. I was so excited! At 2 they broke my water and he was born at 4:57. I went from 5 cm to complete in 30 minutes. It was awesome! After 3 pushes he was out and man it felt so good to have him out. My feet are still totally swollen, but such is life and it is so worth it.

My mom was able to spend a lot of time with me in the hospital and it was wonderful. Everything seemed more relaxed than it did with the other 2. I was able to bond so much with my babe and just hold him and look at him. I loved it!

We came home yesterday from the hospital after a long day of waiting to be discharged and just chilled together as a family of 5. I was discharged that morning, but Jayson was throwing up orange looking stuff and they were worried about it (since they didn't have a clue what it was) and so they wouldn't release him to go home until they could figure it out. They ended up having to pump his stomach and they got out so much liquid. Sean had given him a blessing the night before because he kept choking and turning blue and I'm sure it was due to all that stuff in his stomach and esophagus so it actually was a blessing to have that done because he hasn't had any problems at all since that.

It was nice to be home in my own bed and with my little ones. I can't believe I have 3 kids!!

He only woke up once last night, so I feel totally blessed! He really is just mellow and rarely cries. The proud big sisters

Rylee showing him all her faces. We were laughing so hard.

When I went into labor I kept thinking man I am going to miss Tay's first day with her, but Sean took over and did such a great job. I was so scared that she would go with clothes that didn't quite match and silly hair (I know-- how vain am I), but she looked so cute!!

Things really are going wonderful. Thanks for all the calls everyone. We love you all.

Happy Birthday and Girls Camp

Happy 1st birthday to my brother Ryan and sister in law's little one REYES. I can't believe that she is already 1. I hope she has a wonderful day! We are blowing thousands of birthday kisses your way. Love you!

So last night, the Bishopric when up to Girls Camp for Dinner and the "skits" It was quite entertaining and fun to see all the girls. Our leaders are amazing as well!

The area that they were camping in was gorgeous. We had to hike up a few stairs to the dinner area and I was totally winded. How embarrassing. Cute little BriAnna babysat for us and my kids here in HEAVEN. Tayler thinks she is pretty amazing. They did the cutest crafts together. Thanks again BriAnna! We didn't get home until after 10:30, but had a great time.

The Bishop came home sick from work so we rode up with just the 1st couns. and his wife. It was a fun ride. We laughed so hard I really thought I was going to go into labor.

I am still holding out on having this baby. My goal is to make it to Monday so that I can go with Tayler to her first day of KINDERGARTEN (can you believe that??) and then I will go running if my Dr. doesn't start me after my appt. at 4:00. I have been having a TON of contractions so I hope that I am dilated more and that he sends me over to the hospital! We'll see-- I can't wait for Monday! It will be a busy day for all. I can't believe my first baby will be in school. It's quite emotional. I really will miss her.

My mom called me today with some sad news. Her good friend Gina Waite passed away yesterday. They have been friends forever it seems. I totally feel the pain of the family. It's such a hard thing to lose a parent. My prayers are with their family.

Well I need to put my little one's in bed. Loves to all!

Congrats as well to Jared and Katie with their news that they are having a BOY!! Hooray for more boys so my little guy will have a boy cousin. Congratulations guys!!

My little Tay

So I have to brag a little. What a day for Tay
This is her after her 3rd lesson.. Pretty amazing don't you think?
She really is something. I love her!!

Now Rylee gets the Dora bike with training wheels. She is thrilled too!

!

My sweet little girls!

Time to catch up

Man, where have I been? Unfortunately not having a baby :) However, at my Dr.'s appt.
today-- I am almost dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced so things are moving. My due
date isn't technically until August 9th, but I don't think that we will make it that
long! My Dr. will always induce me at 39 weeks too if I want to be, so really August 2nd was the date on my calendar! I think it would be awesome to have a 24th of July baby so
we'll see how it goes!

We finally finished the nursery on Saturday (at least getting everything set up) now I just need to think of a fun way to decorate it? Any suggestions?
I could do a sports theme or maybe something with the old cars and airplanes? At least all the paint cans and everything is out of the room and cleaned up. I have some vinyl sayings and some shelves I still need to hang up as well.
ALso, -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Julie and Jared (my little brother & sister) who turned 26 on 7-11! I hope you had a great day! Loves to both of you!

Last week we had a funeral on Tuesday for the 38 year old in our ward that passed away. It was a beautiful service and I cried my eyes out. Too many things said and especially the music reminded me of my Dad-- and that coupled with hormones from pregnancy is not a good thing. Afterwards, I stayed to help serve for the luncheon. I left straight from that to go to a baptism! The room were the baptism was being held was about 100 degrees and I seriously thought I was going to pass out! When I finally got home my ankles were non-existent! I loved having my cold basement to go and sit in and relax for a few minutes.

So, Saturday was my last day at the dental office, and Wednesday is my last day babysitting the 2 little girls I have been watching, and Thursday is my last day of Grievance! It will be nice to have a break from everything!

This Thursday night is Tayler's back to school night and then Monday the 23rd is her first day of kindergarten. I get to go with her so I am looking forward to that. She is so excited to go and I think she will do great!

Well, not much else to report right now.. so I hope that everyone is doing well!! Take Care!

Hot, Hot, Hot

I'm not sure that being pregnant while all the records for HEAT are being broken is the greatest thing, But at least it is nearing the end!!

We had a great 4th of July. My brother Jared and sister in law Katie were in town so they came up to our house along with my Mom for a barbecue and fireworks. It was fun to see them all and have them stay with us. The next morning Tayler and her friend Rozlyn played "beauty shop" with Jared and Katie. Here are the results of Jared. They kept saying that he was a ROCK STAR!! Who knew a Belle wig could look so cute on Jared. Thanks again everyone for playing with my kids (and the neighbor kids I had to watch). It was great to see you guys! I'm sad that I didn't get more pictures with Katie and my Mom!
That morning the Bishop stopped by and let us know that a guy in our ward had passed away. He was 38 and lived with his mom and sister in the basement. Sean and I went over that evening. His mom was my VT companion for years so I knew them pretty well. Anyway, it was a sad thing!

Later we went and watched the fireworks at the park near our house. The show they do is spectacular but since they were so close we were covered in ashes and watched some hit to close that were still on fire. I don't remember it being like that last year. Rylee hated the loud noise and Tayler didn't watch any until the very end. I don't think we will do fireworks on the 24th??

Friday my sister in law called me to watch her kids for the weekend. It took all the energy I had, but my kids enjoyed playing with there cousins. Thank heavens that Sean was home all day Saturday to help or I may not have made it. I don't remember being so tired and having a hard time bending over with my other 2 pregnancies. I think I am ready to be done!!! My feet are swollen. Here are some pictures...

I hope that you are not melting wherever you are! Take care! XXOOXX

We're Back

Oh.. the days of relaxing have come to an end! It was so nice to have no agenda and just sleep in and swim and eat out!

We really did have a Fabulous time! In Las Vegas we stayed at the Wynn hotel. It was very VERY nice. When we checked in they told Sean that they had no more "no smoking" in the regular hotel, so they put us up in the Tower Suites. It was out of control. I think we were the only one's with kids too! The room was so sweet and we had our own private pool-(not just ours but for everyone in the Suites). We didn't have to use all the hotel pools and it was right outside the elevator so you didn't have to walk clear across the hotel and thru the casino to get there. It was royal treatment!

Little Rylee got sick Thursday night. I thought that she just had heat exhaustion but it ended up being a yucky virus that caused the pukes, fever, and chills. Tayler got it 2 days later in St. George. It was fine and only lasted a little over a day and a half so it wasn't too bad. Luckily, Sean and I escaped without getting it.

Friday we went to the Mirage and saw the Dolphins and Tigers while we were waiting to check in to the MGM Grand for our last night in Vegas. There was a 2 week old dolphin that had just been born. He was so cute and little and just stayed right by his mom the whole time! We walked around for a while, but it was too hot to be outside and not close to water so we went and checked into our other hotel and hit the pools! Sean stayed in the room while Rylee slept so Tayler and I had a little one on one time.

Saturday after we checked out of the MGM, we drove to St. George and checked into our Condo for the week. Sean used to teach swimming lessons so he taught Tayler all week and she learned so many things and loved it!She can jump in the deep end and come up on her back and float to the side. Her favorite thing was diving for things. The girl is a fish for sure! These are my little sun bathers!
Rylee also loved to swim and wanted her swimming suit on at all times. It was fun to float around and play with her.

Our friends that used to live down the street from us moved to St. George a few weeks ago so we got to see their new house and play. It was Taylers best friend Aubree and her teacher Miss Heidi, so it was great to see them! They have a little boy that is 6 months younger than Rylee so everyone played great together and had a good time.

We went to a baseball game one of the nights in St. George. Tayler was bored by the 3rd inning but we stayed the whole time! She was tired after being in the sun and swimming the whole day but she fell asleep on Sean's shoulder for 2o minutes and then was fine.

All in all it was a great trip. It was so nice to spend time with just my little fam. It was nice to be home to our house and our own beds, but I'm ready for another vacation :)
