Okay so this started out as a great day and then we went grocery shopping..
NEED I SAY MORE!!!
Of course I couldn't go with just 2 kids while Tayler was in school because we had our carpets cleaned. After picking Tay up, off I venture to Walmart with all 3 (all of which are starving, of course) and have a list a mile long of things I have to get.. not things I want to get.. things we actually need, like dish soap. I couldn't even wash my big pans last night because I had no dish soap and we had no milk.
Okay,
so off we go and all the while I am PRAYING that we will find a cart that will make this all happen. We get there and we do find a cart-- thank heavens (however it's the freakin' size of my YUKON) and off we go. Throughout the store I think I said EXCUSE ME 1oo times for running into people. (I seriously couldn't see).
Well after the cart is packed and literally doesn't have one more square inch to put anything, we check out and head home. All kids are still starving and one in particular is now screaming (and the Binky is only making it worse). The trip took a bit longer too because I had to look at calories on all the boxes of every brand to see which was the best. UGH #1!
I get out to the car only to open the back and see the big stroller is there. UGH #2! I know I have enough room if I throw the bags all over the seats but it would sure be easy if they were all in the back so I could unload easily SO I crammed them in. I think I had about 50 bags (no kidding!)
Then we are off for home. HOORAY!! It is 1:00 and I think I am going to pass out too! We pull into the driveway and I think all is well until I open the back of my YUKON.. and UGH #3. I had Jayson out by me and the girls were standing in the driveway, when I opened my trunk door and out tumbles the milk, breaks open, and starts spraying everywhere. I know babies aren't suppose to have cows milk so we'll see how the rest of the day goes!! (seriously he had to have gotten some in his mouth)
It is spraying everywhere and I don't know how to stop it. Other bags have toppled out as well and so all the cans of stuff are rolling down my driveway or getting soaked with milk. Jayson is now screaming louder and Rylee is dancing in the milk and then runs in our house on our newly cleaned carpets, and Tayler is standing there not really sure what to think (even though I am screaming at her and trying to get her to help me, but really making no sense at all).
I am sure the neighbors now think I have officially lost it.
Oh the JOYS I think to myself.
Now, you are probably thinking.. go at night dumb girl? And of course I would BUT my hubby is never home at night either-- bless his heart-- because of all the stuff he is doing (school, church, etc)!
Needless to say we made it. I hope to not visit Walmart again for a very long time!
After I fed all the small ones lunch, I put them down for naps. I went up to my bed to read my book, NEW MOON, (thanks Jen) and had Jayson cuddled next to me. He loves to sleep on his tummy so I let him for nap time. As I was reading my book I looked over and just had so much love for him. I feel like I have known him forever, not just 6 weeks.
Isn't he so stinkin' cute?!
I love my family sooo very much.
They are all my little friends (and big friend).
Beautiful!!
Isn't that a great ending?! I really am blessed and loved and totally taken care of by people! They are from Sean's boss (to me). She thanked me for helping at the party Friday night when Sean was so sick. What a nice lady. I think they are absolutely beautiful and such perfect timing to be delivered!!
