A lot has happened at our house in the past little while.
Tayler started school and our cute little boy was born!
His name is Jayson Thomas and weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 inches long.
We went to the hospital Sunday morning (1 am) because I was having contractions pretty regularly and they were pretty painful. When we got there of course they didn't seem as bad as they did at home so I thought for sure that they would just send us home, but after the nurse called my doctor he said he would come in and break my water and get things rollin'. I was so excited! At 2 they broke my water and he was born at 4:57. I went from 5 cm to complete in 30 minutes. It was awesome! After 3 pushes he was out and man it felt so good to have him out. My feet are still totally swollen, but such is life and it is so worth it.My mom was able to spend a lot of time with me in the hospital and it was wonderful. Everything seemed more relaxed than it did with the other 2. I was able to bond so much with my babe and just hold him and look at him. I loved it!
We came home yesterday from the hospital after a long day of waiting to be discharged and just chilled together as a family of 5. I was discharged that morning, but Jayson was throwing up orange looking stuff and they were worried about it (since they didn't have a clue what it was) and so they wouldn't release him to go home until they could figure it out. They ended up having to pump his stomach and they got out so much liquid. Sean had given him a blessing the night before because he kept choking and turning blue and I'm sure it was due to all that stuff in his stomach and esophagus so it actually was a blessing to have that done because he hasn't had any problems at all since that.
It was nice to be home in my own bed and with my little ones. I can't believe I have 3 kids!!
He only woke up once last night, so I feel totally blessed! He really is just mellow and rarely cries.

When I went into labor I kept thinking man I am going to miss Tay's first day with her, but Sean took over and did such a great job. I was so scared that she would go with clothes that didn't quite match and silly hair (I know-- how vain am I), but she looked so cute!!

Congrats Jess! I am so glad that all is well now. New babies can be so scary sometimes, thank heavens for great husbands who know what to do and are worthy to do it!
We have a little something for Jayson but we will wait a few weeks to see him. We are doing a little BBQ with your sis on August 7th so if you are feeling up to it, come on over. We are going to set up the big slide and let the kids get wet wet wet and have some fun fun fun. Jen thought she'd bring the girls over to give you a break but maybe you will want to just come and hang out too. Take care and call for anything! BriAnna is home for a few more weeks if you get feeling a little homebound and just want to take the baby out for a bit. Congrats again!
CONGRATS!! I've been thinking of you and hoping Mr little Jayson would hurry up and get here. I was SO excited to see your post! WOOHOO! HE IS ADORABLE! And how fun that Tay did great on her first day (and looked cute too!) Good luck, take it easy and I can't wait to here all about life with 3!
Congrats! He is adorable! I am glad that everything went really smooth with the labor and cute little Jayson is breathing ok. Love the name and I am so glad he is healthy and strong!

Congratulations to you all. There is just something about baby boys that melts my heart. Enjoy him while he is little and not too active....because man oh man are they different from girls in that way.
