Okay, now it's time for some catch-up FUN

Like noted in my last post, my sister and 3 of her kids arrived Thursday afternoon. After a not so fun night spent at the Instacare with poor Eli, we decided to do something fun Friday so we packed up the kids and headed to the Treehouse Museum. I had never been to the new one so we wanted to try it out. Needless to say it was a hit, I think :) The kids had fun bouncing from one toy to another. After 3 hours we decided it was time to get dinner and head home. Here are some pictures from the hours of play. (it really is a very cute place).

Rylee playing with the trains

Alyssa & Jayson playing in the trains

Eli & Jen enjoying the trains as well
Our teachers in training, Meg & Tayler (they are such great friends)

Jayson & Rylee being the students in the class

On their voyage

Tay & Meg playing acting out "Alice in Wonderland"

Jayson trying to find home :)

Our little Kings of the castle Jayson & Eli

Rushing to put out a fire

Loving the big musical instuments

At the end- outside the Treehouse right in front of the Ogden Temple. What a cute bunch of kids!
We came home, ate dinner, and all the kids were out cold not long after. I love play time with my sister!

Life is good

FIRST, congratulations to my fabulous hubby who completed his Masters in Health Administration (MHA) today. He did his big presentation today for his professor and now has a little write-up to do and then is DONE! I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard, amongst everything else he had going on
the last 3 1/2 years. He rocks! Way to go babe. We love you. Can't wait
to celebrate.

This weekend, my sister and her 3 kiddos came down from Boise & my 2 brothers and their wives and my other little niece came from Seattle. It is always so much fun to see everyone.

Jen arrived Thursday afternoon around 4 (we weren't even here to greet her- how lame are we) and stayed until Sunday afternoon. We had a blast. Thursday while we were cleaning up dinner all of the kids were playing out on the back porch when all of a sudden Eli slipped and blood was everywhere. The poor little guy split his head open. Head wounds are so scary! Jen and I put him in the car and hurried off to the Instacare. They were a little busy, but took us right back. The bleeding stopped and the put on the numbing stuff that had to stay on his head for 15-20 minutes. They also gave him some Motrin which finally started working after a few minutes. He was so sweet and so happy. Well, he ended up with 7 stitches in his little forehead. They had to bundle him to stitch him up. He was a little love and did wonderful. Here is the after math.. sweet little dude

Jayson decided that he needed a band aid on the whole weekend just like his cousin- funny huh!
We had a great weekend and got to celebrate my Mom's birthday too. Don't worry lots more posts to come. Stay tuned :)

Happy Birthday little boy..

Eli turned one on Sunday! I can't believe it. He is such a handsome little guy and we love him so much! We hope you had lots of yummy cake and ice cream!
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY

All dressed up..

....for Church.
Poor Sean, was so sick. Dang bronchitis really had him down and out. He woke up for all the festivities, but then we sent him back to bed. Anyway, here are all the kids all dressed and ready to go. We went to our new ward. It was nice. It will take a little bit of getting used to, but all in all it was great.

After Church, we came home to change and then went to Shelly and Mike's house for a wonderful dinner and another Easter egg hunt! Thanks guys, everything was so yummy and so much fun. Sadly, my camera lens shattered when I opened it before the Easter egg hunt, so I didn't get any pictures at their house. I think Shel took some for me since I was camera-LESS! what bad timing! Thankfully it was just the diffuser over my camera lens not the actual lens itself. PHEW!
I love Easter. I love to hear about the Resurrection of our loving Savior. Last year on Easter Sean and I had to speak and I loved preparing for that talk. I talked about the last moments of the Savior's life. What an amazing blessing and gift. Something I still cannot wrap my brain around, but am so grateful for that gift.

Easter morning

We had a special Easter bunny this year. The cute lady that is in our old house made these Easter bunnies for my kids. Yep, we are pretty much spoiled (remember she made us those cute aprons too). She bought stuffed animals, took of the heads, pulled all the stuffing out, found a bucket that would fit inside, filled it with candy and sewed the head back on and then wrapped them in cellophane. They were darling and my kids loved them. Thank you Alison!

Rylee's checking out her goods.

Look how big the bunnies are?!

I loved this picture!

Jayson's loved his too! A boy bear just for him.

After breakfast the kids had an Easter Egg hunt around the house.

We had a fun morning together!

Dying Eggs

Friday night we dyed some Eggs.
The girls had a ball and Jayson sat in the high chair and enjoyed a cupcake the whole time. Here are some pictures of the fun.......

Sunday, the Easter bunny took our eggs and hid them. Crazy bunny!

Mom's visit

My mom had Spring Break last week so she came to hang with us. It was so much fun! I told her that I needed some help decorating my big shelves in the living room so off we went to several stores. This is what we ended up with...

Then it was off to RC Willey (we waited for Sean, however) to help pick out an area rug for the entry way. I wasn't in love with this one, but now that it's in my house.. I LOVE IT!!! (It seemed so big in the store, but looked tiny in the entrance way. I am a horrible judge of dimensions)! The red color is a fun accent to my tan walls and tan couch!

THEN... She played school (where she was the student & Tay was the teacher), listened to Tay read for hours, helped put on an amazing puppet show, did hours of art projects, raced around the house with Rylee & Jayson, etc. etc. I am sure she was MAJORLY worn out after a few days with us. Thanks for coming mom, it was a blast. I love hanging out with her and so glad that she lives just far enough that she can have a "sleep-over" with us.
Okay, come back now, I need more help :)

M.I.A.

Man I have been MISSING in ACTION for awhile now. sorry! Life was a little crazy with the move, but everything is finally coming together and life is slowing down a bit.
We are loving our new house, yet still missing our friends up the road A LOT! So glad that we are still close to our old neighborhood.

Wednesday was Tayler's last day at Antelope. She had a hard time saying good-bye and apparently so did her mom watching her be so heart-broken. I shed a few tears too because I LOVE her teacher so much. She has been so amazing with Tayler, but I assured Tay that when they were still in school for the summer and she wasn't (thank heavens) we would take cupcakes or something.

To check her out, you have to take around a withdraw sheet for everyone to sign (the lunch lady, librarian, teacher, and office). Everywhere I went, they would say "who are we losing now" and when I would say her name they would all say "oh, she is such a great little girl" I am so proud of my little Tay. She is a great girl! I can't wait to see her adventures in her new school on Monday.

Tayler's teacher also gave her the CUTEST scrapbook page, some candy, and a Junie B. Jones chapter book. It is 119 pages and with Grandma's help she read it in 24 hours. I think I have a book worm on my hands. She is dying to go to the Library and get another one.

Here are some pictures from the last day as an All-Star:

We made her teacher a candy bar poster to say Thank You!

friends: Kaylyn, Julie, and Ariel givin' Tay a squeeze.

next post: grandma's visit! Oh we had so much fun....
